Welcome to Inner Strength Meditations. A moment to breathe and be.

Framing The Practice

SPEAKER_02

We'll be practicing shifting our attention from thoughts or distractions to the limitless space and potential we each can experience.

Settle With Breath And Relax

SPEAKER_01

Begin with a deep breath. As you exhale, see if you can relax your muscles, even just ten percent more.

Sensing Mental Spaciousness

SPEAKER_02

Each of us can experience so much spaciousness in our own mind.

SPEAKER_01

We can simply put our attention on that openness.

SPEAKER_02

As you sit, you may notice thoughts and distractions that pop up that is totally natural and normal.

SPEAKER_01

See if you can redirect your attention to the quality of spaciousness.

Redirecting Attention To Openness

SPEAKER_02

Notice the pause between one thought and the next. Even if it's just for a nanosecond. When we bring our attention to that pause, it might feel like it lingers just a little bit longer.

SPEAKER_01

Bring your attention to the quality of that spaciousness, shifting our attention from the thoughts that pop up back to the open space in between.

Transition And Closing

SPEAKER_01

Slowly begin to breathe a little bit deeper, blinking your eyes open if they were closed. Thank you for practicing today.

Enjoy this moment and stay well.
